Am I required to register to Collabotrade?     Top
Creating an account on Collabotrade.com is optional. If you just want to search for posted classified ads or events in your neighborhood or any specific community, you do not require to register. However, if you want to post ads or event notifications or build and join other communities, registration is required.


What is the account activation process?     Top
When you submit your registration request at collabotrade.com, an activation link is sent to the e-mail id provided by you at the time of registration. You must activate your account by clicking on the URL provided in the e-mail to start posting your FREE classified ads.


Can I provide alias in place of my actual name?     Top
You are free to provide your original name or alias at the time of registration, though using your original name makes it easy for other members in your community to recognize you and hence boosts the chances of selling items and services faster.

You should be aware that you are voluntarily disclosing any personal information. You should avoid giving your physical address or any other personal information in postings, since that information can be collected by other and used for unsolicited purposes.


I've forgotten my password. What should I do?     Top
If you have forgotten your password, please visit Forgot my password page to retrieve your password. It requires you to enter the same e-mail ID, that you used for signing up for your free collabotrade.com account. The new password will be sent to the this email ID.

I registered for my FREE account but did not receive activation email. What do I do?     Top
If you haven't received the confirmation e-mail, one of the following events may have taken place.
  • You entered an incorrect email address during registration.
    Solution:You will be required to register again with a new Email ID and the note that the login you chose the first time will not be available. A valid email address is very important since it allows you to authenticate your account as well as it’s your login ID for Collabotrade
  • Emails servers on the Internet are slow because of high traffic.
    Solution:Please wait for a few minutes. If the email still does not get through, please contact us
  • Our email was considered as spam and was filtered by your email server/client.
    Solution:Check your spam folder. Add http://www.collabotrade.com to your white or accepted list of domains or address book.
  • Our email was considered invalid because it was automatically generated by the system and not by a human.
    Solution:Check your rejected/pending messages in your Junk/Spam folder. Add http://www.collabotrade.com to your white or accepted list or address book.

How can I edit my ZIP code, name, password or complete profile?     Top
Sign in to your Collabotrade account and click on Edit Profile option shown in the top right corner of the page. Here, you can make changes to your profile and save them by clicking Update button.


What browsers are supported by Collabotrade.com?     Top
We have tested the site on the latest versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE7). However, if you are using older or non-standards compliant browsers, you are likely to experience some formatting issues. Does Collabotrade.com offer any mediation between buyers and seller?     Top
Collabotrade is a free online trading platform for buyers and sellers. It simply acts as an intermediary platform for connecting buyers and seller to provide them a safe and trusted buying and selling experience. Collabotrade does not provide any kind of payment options. Both parties must negotiate and accept each other’s terms and conditions to complete the transaction.
